We just picked up a brand-new ARB Classic Series II portable Fridge Freezer. This new fridge comes in a new color, but it also has new features such as Bluetooth connectivity. Let’s see what’s in the box.
After we unboxed the unit, we plugged it into our Pajero utilizing the ARB Wiring Kit, which we installed shortly after buying the rig. The wiring kit goes directly to the battery, allowing a more direct connection to the fridge and all but assuring adequate power. (Not all 12V sockets will power these fridges due to the socket’s small gauge wire, but the ARB Wiring Kit has always worked for us.)
We’ll be sure to update you after we’ve spent some time with with this portable fridge, and also let you know how the company’s new Fridge Connect works. App is available for both iPhone and Android devices.
Stay tuned.
