The 2024 Alcan 5000 Rally INEOS Grenadier is in our possession! We just picked up our 2024 Alcan 5000 INEOS Grenadier at RTGT INEOS Grenadier from Wilsonville, Oregon. The Grenadier Trialmaster 4×4 still has some finishing touches to go on it. More on that soon, but for now, it’s Andy’s first chance to drive it before we leave for the 5,000+ mile, 10-day Arctic endurance rally in exactly 10 days.
The 2024 Alcan 5000 will depart Kirkland, Washington on February 21. It’ll snake its way through all of British Columbia and parts of Alberta to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Then teams will head westward to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, before hitting Fairbanks, Alaska, an optional jaunt to Coldfoot, then down to Valdez, before finishing in Anchorage March 1. There are also optional extreme control routes that teams can complete if they so choose to earn coveted awards. We say yes to that challenge! We earned those accolades in 2020 and 2022.
We’re Partnering with INEOS Automotive
Andy and I are partnering with INEOS Grenadier for the 2024 competition. The start line for this extreme TSD (time-speed-distance) road rally can’t come soon enough. We’re eyeball-deep in rally prep and can’t wait to share with you how the Grenadier will be outfitted for the rally.
I have driven early-stage Grenadier prototypes in France in early 2022, with a follow-up trip to Scotland to test INEOS’ production-ready Euro-spec models in January 2023. Now, Andy will be the team driver, piloting a U.S.-spec variant with me as the navigator. We’re honored to partner with INEOS Automotive.
