After seeing a host of lifted cars at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, I proclaimed on Subcompact Culture that lifting would be the new lowering. In other words, we’d see more cars getting the off-road/rally treatment rather than the slammed-in-the-weeds look. Well, it’s 2021, and we’re seeing just that. In fact, this lifted Toyota Yaris is a prime example.
Proof that every vehicle is an adventure.
This lifted Toyota Yaris owned by Jake Brown. You can read all about it on Subcompact Culture. Also, this mighty mite is a perfect example of Crankshaft Culture’s mantra: Every Vehicle Is An Adventure. It’s also proof that you don’t need a massive, high-dollar vehicle to get out and explore. No, you’re not going to tackle the Rubicon Trail in this little rig, but that’s not why it was built. This lifted Toyota Yaris will, however, get you farther through the snow or down bad roads with more ground clearance. That is exactly why Jake built it. PS: this isn’t the first Lifted Toyota Yaris we’ve written about, and it likely won’t be the last.
