It’s been nearly five years since we’ve had our van, aka, the Travel Tractor. So it seems appropriate that our 1994 Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear walkaround video finally happens. So, without further ado, see the motion picture above.

Above is the Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear when we first bought it in Fort. Myers, Florida. The van was 100% stock sans the BFGoodrich KO2 tires. This van took us across the United States in 2020 at the height of the Covid-19 and Mercedes even wrote about it in the New York Times. However, we’ve added significant upgrades to it since we’ve owned it. This includes:
- Coastal Off-Road Front and Rear bumpers (with swing-away tire carrier)
- WARN ZEON 8-S winch
- Factor 55 UltraHook and Rope Guard; HitchLink 2.0
- Lightforce Venom and ROK40 LED lights
- 15×7 Cragar Soft 8 steel wheels with +6 offset
- Rancho RS900 XL adjustable shocks
- Dobinsons heavy-duty front torsion bars
- Coombs Country Autos rear heavy-duty coil springs
- Long Range Automotive long-range fuel tank (125 liter/33 gallon)
- Front Runner Outfitters Slimline 2 Roof Rack
- Egoé Nestbox Supertramp camping setup
- MAXTRAX MKII traction boards
- DMOS Stealth shovel
- Custom window covers (thanks, Wade!)
It’s been quite the transformation over the last half decade, and our Mitsubishi Delica van barely has 77,000 miles on it. The van runs like a champ, and we always look forward to taking it on its next adventure. We hope you like our Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear walkaround video as much as we enjoyed making it. I mean, we had to do some camping in the middle of nowhere, enjoy the outdoors, and take in some incredible scenery, but we’ll be fine.
