Texas was all-new for the Subiefest series, and we weren’t sure what to expect. But Subiefest Texas 2023 ended up having some super clean builds, wild rides, and awesome people.
Subiefest Teaxs: How The Lone Star State Does Subarus
In true Texas fashion, the Subiefest Texas event was big. There were lots of people and plenty of vendors. It was hot and humid (shocking, I know), but hey, it’s Texas! Everyone was super friendly, outgoing, and inquisitive about our Alcan Outback Wilderness. In fact, we were stunned by the amount of Outback and Forester Wilderness owners who we talked to. I guess I didn’t expect that in Texas.
This was one of my favorite Subiefest events. Everyone was so great, there were a bunch of dogs up for adoption (and I’m told 8 or 10 were adopted!), and the overall build quality was really good. There were more off-road-centric Subarus than I expected, too. For some reason, I thought it’d be mostly slammed Subies, but I was wrong.
I also didn’t know what to expect for an inaugural Texas event, but the builds were really good and there were some super Subarus in the Lone Star State. Here are some of them.
