Unboxing the ARB ZERO Fridge Freezer

ARB is one of the best known names in the portable refrigerator/freezer game. The company literally just debuted an all-new model called ZERO. This is a dual-zone fridge freezer meaning you can have two zones in one unit—one set for frozen food, one set for items that don’t need to be frozen. Conversely, you can remove a center divider and have one big fridge freezer. Our ZERO just arrived, and we want to show you what’s inside the box.

Why We Chose the ARB Zero Fridge Freezer

The model we got is the 69 liter/73 quart (part number 10802692). It’s got three removable baskets, a removable divider, and can hold a lot of 375ml beer/soda cans. The unit is a great size for trucks, vans, and SUVs alike. It’s efficient, versatile, and feels exceptionally well built. Plus, it has a Bluetooth module letting you check and change the unit’s settings without having to physically get to the fridge/freezer.

Power Draw and Dual Zone Cooling Performance

When it comes to power draw, the ARB Zero may be big in size and ability, but doesn’t use much power. Current draw is 0.8Ah. The low amp draw means it won’t gobble up your rig’s battery. Plus, you can set the fridge to different levels of power draw on your battery, ensuring you’ll be able to start your car, truck, or SUV.

The ARB ZERO lets you have dual-zone cooling. This lets you have one area below freezing, the other above. Or if you have two specific temperatures you’d like, this unit allows for that. The cooling can range from -7.6°F to 50°F.

Final Thoughts: Is the ARB Zero Worth It?

This isn’t a cheap fridge, but its performance, versatility, and durability make it a great choice for travelers and weekend warriors alike. It’s big, so it may not be ideal for compact campers or smaller vehicles, so take note. But its ability to keep items cold, even frozen, is great. Plus, the Bluetooth versatility is a fantastic feature.
