Australian-based ARB knows a thing or two about living in the Outback. From heavy-duty bumpers and off-road fridges to high-powered auxiliary lights and even awnings, the company has a long-standing reputation for quality, design, and longevity. We review the ARB Touring Awning Kit with Light to see if it stands up to its other products.

We have the Coastal Offroad high-clearance front and rear bumpers (with skid plate and swing-away tire/jerry can carrier) finalized! We thought we’d do a walk-around video showing the Coastal Offroad Delica bumpers’ advantages for off-road driving, camping, and carrying extra gear.

My Link Between 1990s JDM Cars and Radio Shack

MD158815 Glow Plug Computer

As electrical things break and need fixing on our small fleet of 1990s JDM cars, specifically our 1991 and 1992 Mitsubishi Pajeros and 1994 Delica Space Gear, it’s ironic how much I could use a local Radio Shack these days. Connectors, wiring, capacitors—all in one shop open seven days a week. Yet the brick-and-mortar stores…

One of the things we don’t love, however, is the small fuel tank which equates to a short range. So we decided to do something about it. The short-wheelbase 2.5-liter diesel Pajero has a 15.8 gallon tank. We…

September 23, 2019 / Andy Lilienthal / 2 Comments
The Terra Tractor currently disassembled

I’m in the process of rebuilding the front end on the Terra Tractor, our 1991 Mitsubishi Pajero. OK, that’s actually not 100% true. I’m technically in the process of writing a ranty blog post about the front end rebuild from hell while drinking a whiskey cocktail. Anyway …
