Rolling Stock Review: BFGoodrich g-Force Comp-2 A/S Plus On Our 2005 Subaru Forester XT
When we purchased our “bought not built” modified 2005 Subaru Forester XT (with the 5-speed manual), we knew the first thing that had to be changed: wheels and tires. This fact was hammered home as the Subaru would easily turn into a drift missile around corners, especially in the rain. Admittedly, the low grip was…

I’ve bought and sold more cars, trucks, and SUVs than I’m willing to admit. I’d like to think I know how to effectively sell a car. However, it’s moderately appalling how bad some people seem to be at it. Ask me how I know. However, whether selling on Facebook Marketplace, Craiglist, OfferUp, or even Nextdoor,…

The time has come to part ways with our 1992 Mitsubishi Pajero XR-II, aka the Ralli Tractor. We bought this JDM, right-hand-drive rig stock in 2018 in Houston, TX, and customized it to the way it is today. It’s bittersweet, but we need to cull the herd. We just picked up our go-faster project, a…

To say Mercedes and I have been busy so far in 2022 would be a gross understatement. You may have noticed we haven’t made a post since January. Frankly, we’ve been so busy we simply haven’t had time. That being said, the things we’ve been busy with have been automotive-based and awesome.

The Tokyo Auto Salon is one of the premier vehicle customizations shows in the world. It also has a reputation for featuring some wild custom builds, many of which with a distinctly Japanese flair. The event happens every year, and damn it, someday I’ll get there. I’ve followed TAS for as long as I can remember. I mean, this event is right up Crankshaft Culture’s alley: Crazy-customized JDM 4WDs and vans? My heart be still.

However, carrying a compass with you, like the Suunto Global MC-2 G Compass can help you find your way when technology fails….
